Tony Boy’s Sandwich House Coming Soon to 2 Broadway in Denville
A New Jersey sandwich chain known for its cutlets is heading to downtown Denville. Tony Boy’s has listed a location at 2 Broadway on its own website, with the storefront marked as coming soon. The company has not announced an opening date.
Tony Boy’s currently runs four New Jersey shops, in Livingston, Madison, Montclair and the Pine Brook section of Montville. Denville is one of three more listed as coming soon, alongside Cranford and Wayne, which would put the chain at seven locations once all three open.
The company built its name on cutlets and bills itself as “The King of the Cutlet.” Its menu covers gourmet and signature cutlet sandwiches, cheesesteaks, chopped salads, milkshakes and catering trays.

WAYNE, NJ — Hungry Wayne residents are in for a treat, because a Jersey-born sandwich shop is opening its newest location in town.
Tony Boy’s Sandwich House will be opening its sixth location at 239 Berdan Avenue, replacing what was once Paheli Modern Indian Cuisine.
The eatery offers a slew of sandwich options, including hot and cold subs, cheesesteaks, wraps, and more. Diners can also enjoy salads, pastas, milkshakes, and other items.
Some featured sandwiches include the Stallone, which comes with pepperoni, melted fresh mozz, extra virgin olive oil, and a choice of fried chicken or eggplant cutlet.
Tony Boys Sandwich House plans Passaic County expansion
Tony Boys Sandwich House is preparing to make its Passaic County debut.
Located at 239 Berdan Ave. in Wayne, the gourmet sandwich chain plans to open this fall, according to a social media announcement.
Founded in 2017 by Anthony Marra Jr. as a small sandwich shop in Livingston, the eatery boasts a large menu of sandwiches and salads crafted with premium ingredients.
When restaurant industry veteran Marra set out to create his fast-casual concept, he wanted to offer “things that were fun, interesting and unique” alongside “classic sub-shop stables.”
Along with its signature chicken and eggplant cutlets, Tony Boys is becoming popular for offerings like the Nutty Pig (chicken or eggplant cutlet with warm peanut butter sauce, bacon and jelly) and the Tony Boloney (fried bologna, melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise).
N.J. sandwich shop known for loaded cutlets opening new location
Tony Boys Sandwich House will open a new location in Union County this summer.
The sandwich shop is planned to open in late June or early July at 102-C North Union Ave. in Cranford, the site of the former Cranford Beauty Supply.
Existing locations are in Livingston, Madison, Montclair and Montville.
Owner Anthony Marra Jr. shared why he chose Cranford for his latest expansion: “I was looking at different areas and I fell in love with the downtown area, it’s so community driven.”
Marra said the business is known for handmade chicken and eggplant cutlets.
“They’re all hand breaded and pan fried, not deep fried,” he noted.
